A Zekken or Nafuda is a small pouch with an elastic band on the top to be placed over the center flap of a bogu’s tare. Usually, the dojo or location name is presented on the top and the person’s name at the bottom. The center either has the dojo logo, country flag, or the last name of the person in Kanji or Katakana.
