Please note: One-of-a-kind – What you see is what you get due to the “organic” nature of the product. The hole diameter is approx 33mm. If your shinai has a thicker grip, it will not fit. Designed to fit most size 39 shinais with 32mm tsuka diameter or less. Tsuba is approximately 9cm in diameter and 6-8mm thick. These ray skin tsubas are not coated. They are just polished to ensure “keiko” durability. Coated ray skin tsuba’s will flake, crack or break on the surface during keiko. The foundation of the tsuba is a compressed cowhide for strengthening the overall tsuba construct.
